Big Valley Inn

This seemed to be the Hotspot for lunch. Saturday lunch time and the place was packed. In typical fashion I had the burger and fries from the quick option menu that was provided. After all, what's a ride without my burger. It was basic but quite good and the fries were freshly cooked. I like the fact it was a real beef patty and not some processed machine pressed generic frozen puck. I totally didn't get a picture of it to go along with the review though. I took a couple bites then was like ooohhh nnoooo. I was temporarily memorized by the gal they teleported in from 1977 with the bell bottoms and Jaclyn Smith'esque hair. Who rocked that look by the way.Can't review on the hotel part as I wasn't a guest therefore I did not experience what it had to offer.

Went on Thursday for wing night with the family. Wings were a good size and hot out of the fryer. Many different flavors to choose from. It was nice to have the wing night special offered on the restaurant side so that we could take our kids. We will be back!

On Saturday, the girls and I with Women In The Wind, rode into town for lunch and maybe a slice of pie on our Slice of Alberta Ride! I had called earlier in the week to give a heads up that we were coming because I expected it to be busy. It wasn’t busy inside! There was a farmers market going on and a group of antique car owners were also in town enjoying the beautiful day outside. We stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful relaxed time, enjoyed our very good and varied lunches, some of which were, fresh wraps, delicious soup, golden chicken fingers & fries, baked potato wedges customized with no bacon as requested followed by a complementary slice of delicious apple pie or strawberry & rhubarb pie with whipped cream! Our server was delightful, courteous and busy looking after us and the attached liquor store! Needless to say, we left full, refreshed and looking forward to a return visit, with more time to explore the unique shops on Main Street!!Thank you for an awesome visit!

It was a beautiful little place to visit...grab a quick fulfilling dinner on a passing through kind of trip...good portions...great little community and friendly people...all very knowledgable and eager to share and answer questions asked by new visitor's

Just moved too big valley and I really liked the inn. Service,owners &food is excellent. They make you feel welcome when you walk through the door.

The food here is amazing. Nice small town restaurant with very friendly staff. I will be eating here regularly for sure.
